Chemical generally leaves no white cast BUT people with sensitive skin, acne prone skin and so on, for them is better to use mineral sunscreen bc chemical WILL cause irritation and make acne worse! Most of chemical sunscreens may cause this but not all, try to find what works best for you. If you use mineral sunscreen and it leaves alot of white cast just put a tinted serum on top. It will help cancel out the white cast!

its crazy cause i remember when i’d blow dry my hair and use a regular straightener, my hair would always frizz up or get curly again, whereas with this, it literally comes out soooooo sleek!!! plus its so quick and non-damaging with the right heat protection!! literally crazyyy!! idk if that might be because this is more pricey whereas my remington straightener i only got for about $20, but its the best!! i have heard of curly girls not really liking this device but for me, i LOVE IT 💘 (2c hair!)

This is because of different lip shades and not because of different skin tones believe me....if you both had same lip colour the shade would have looked the same irrespective of your skin colour

You can create your own and honestly, for those of us with darker skin, that’s the best option. I still have to add blue color corrector to some of my foundations because they are still making them too orange for me. It’s hard to color correct when it’s already in the cushion and they can’t even get our undertones correct in a bottle 😒. Buy an empty diy cushion, sanitize it, then add any foundation that you have and like. I suggest soaking both sides of the cushion with foundation or it’ll seem drier than it actually is.

Ok I do believe in “colour theory “ BUT it really looks that when the lipstick goes off camera and then return the shade goes lighter and then u dip it in the new shade!

Yees my parents are from Asia but we look white because our ancestors are European. Still 2 Generations before me, they lived in Kazakhstan. And I never felt Asian or European because I have no right to feel Asian if I don’t look like it right. But I can’t deny the cultural influences it had on my life. 🙃

Your mom is beautiful! I agree with most comments that she looks better with less makeup. The look was way too strong and harsh - the strong black eyes and the strong dark lip. Too much going on. I would love to see you do a more natural soft glam look on her - I think she would look more stunning!
